Emergency Room Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ER Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, treating patients of all ages with minor injuries to acutely or critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities- Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages.
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously, providing general nursing care and prioritizing needs continually.
- Act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure.
- Provide follow-up care instructions to patients and make necessary referrals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts.
- Coordinate functions with physicians and other departments of the hospital, while being patient-focused and safety-aware at all times.
- Current Utah nursing license in good standing.
- Associate's Degree in nursing required, bachelor's preferred.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
- American Red Cross of American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS) within six months of hire.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within six (6) months of start date.
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred.
- At least one year of recent ER RN experience required.
