The Aluminum City Terrace Housing Association is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents by performing routine maintenance and repairs on our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance
  • Perform repairs and replacements of furnaces, hot water tanks, tubs, tub surrounds, commodes, sinks, and other plumbing and HVAC equipment
  • Assist with electrical and carpentry tasks as needed
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights
