Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate mental health professionals to join our team as Psychotherapist Interns. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including adults, adolescents, and children. You will provide psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions, as well as collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
- Document services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in psychotherapy and counseling through continuing education and professional development.
Requirements
- Master's degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
- Active Florida Intern license or in the process of obtaining one.
- Work experience in an outpatient setting preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
- $35 per billable hour.
- Group malpractice insurance.
Work Schedule
- As an Independent Contractor, you will have the flexibility to determine your working hours.
- Offices open Monday-Thursday for in-person and telehealth appointments.
- Availability to work via telemedicine Friday-Sunday.
- Option to work 50% telemedicine from the beginning of employment.
