Consumer Loan Processor

We are seeking a highly skilled Consumer Loan Processor to join our team at Frontwave Credit Union. As a key member of our lending team, you will be responsible for processing consumer loan applications in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Promptly respond to digital loan applications, determine eligibility for membership, and process member requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Act as the main point of contact throughout the loan process, providing guidance on process, product, and pricing to members.
- Ensure accuracy in loan applications, verification of income, and other documents required for funding or as stipulated by contract.
- Communicate underwriting recommendations to members according to established service level agreements and workflow processes.
- Contribute to the development, testing, and training of new workflows and procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of financial industry experience with one year of lending experience.
- Basic computer skills with general knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of California and out of state DMV policy and procedures.
- Knowledge of basic consumer lending processes and after-market products.
