Position Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk plays a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of billing processes and providing outstanding service to our clients and partners. The incumbent will oversee the management of receivables, assist in tracking performance metrics, and support the billing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Become proficient in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and understand all operational procedures related to billing.
- Accurately log incoming trailers and verify documentation against driver entries.
- Assign trailers to designated dock doors and coordinate with warehouse personnel.
- Prepare and review outbound documentation to ensure compliance.
- Generate and maintain accurate records for all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Communicate essential information to clients and stakeholders through various channels.
- Delegate tasks to warehouse staff as necessary.
- Manage reporting duties for the accounts receivable department.
- Collaborate with the billing team to ensure timely invoicing of services rendered.
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills, effective time management, and problem-solving abilities to enhance departmental operations.
- Maintain qualifications for warehouse operations, including forklift operation and other necessary tasks.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous.
- Ability to learn and operate the WMS effectively.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and active listening.
- Flexible availability to meet operational needs.
- Excellent decision-making and analytical skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
