Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Global Biopharma Account Growth Specialist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Careers.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize global key accounts for Central Lab's business.
  • Responsible for achieving annual sales targets by maintaining a keen awareness of business strategies, client climate, and requirements.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of client needs and preferences to drive account expansion and growth.

Responsibilities:

Key Account Management:
  • Develop and implement account plans to drive year-over-year growth for global key accounts.
  • Demonstrate expertise in consultative selling and relationship-building to expand beyond current contacts.
  • Own account management, balancing competing needs and objections to achieve sales goals.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop unique value propositions.
  • Drive successful RFP/Proposal processes to meet and exceed key account expectations.
  • Lead and drive RFI strategy processes, from receipt to completion.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Establish and preserve preferred vendor status by maintaining a keen awareness of global key accounts' business strategies and pain points.
  • Liaise with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other departments to meet key account needs.
  • Partner closely with Alliance Leads on assigned accounts to ensure client satisfaction and provide insights to relationship management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a similar role, providing knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.
  • Advanced process improvement/implementation skills, extensive analytical skills, and data interpretation/tracking/trending skills.
  • High level of PC competence, understanding of computer logic, and excellent business and financial acumen.

  • An estimated salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
