Candidate Profile:

As a Logistics Supervisor at Kohler Co., you will oversee warehouse operations, managing the flow of finished goods and service parts. Your responsibilities will include scheduling and administering a flexible workforce to efficiently balance receiving, warehousing, and shipping to fulfill customer orders and product deliveries. You will also be instrumental in enhancing productivity through active leadership and participation in process improvement initiatives across the Supply Chain. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels and control procedures related to finished goods and service parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate workforce to tasks based on efficient scheduling needs
  • Ensure adherence to all process and quality specifications in shipping and receiving
  • Monitor shipping performance and strive to exceed budgetary expectations
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of processes and equipment to optimize efficiency
  • Ensure all shift associates receive adequate training in necessary procedures
  • Conduct monthly safety meetings to emphasize the importance of safe work practices; enforce all safety regulations
  • Implement plant rules and manage disciplinary actions when necessary
  • Continuously seek improvements in processes, equipment, and procedures
  • Encourage associates to engage in process improvement methodologies
  • Understand and enforce safe handling procedures for hazardous materials
  • Maintain training on all relevant SOPs, LOPs, policies, and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
  • 3+ years of experience in a distribution or warehousing environment
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Some travel may be required for training and development purposes

The salary range for this position is $69,800 - $87,950. The specific salary offered may vary based on experience, education, and work location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401k.
