Our approach includes comprehensive training, ergonomic assessments, equipment recommendations, and therapeutic interventions aimed at pain relief.

Position Summary:
This is a part-time, contracted role without benefits. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional capable of fostering collaborative relationships with onsite teams to identify safety concerns and prioritize corrective actions, aiming to significantly reduce employee injuries and discomfort. Responsibilities include delivering individualized and group training, conducting workstation evaluations, coaching on body mechanics, and providing self-care training. The Specialist will also generate weekly and monthly reports detailing all training, coaching, and recommendations provided, along with improvements in biomechanical training metrics.

Compensation:
$45-$55 per hour, depending on qualifications, education, training, and experience.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state license or certification in one of the following fields:
    • Massage Therapy (LMT/CMT)
    • Athletic Training (AT)
    • Physical Therapy (DPT) or Physical Therapy Assistance (PTA)
    • Occupational Therapy (OT) or Occupational Therapy Assistance (COTA)
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in injury prevention, rehabilitation, or workplace ergonomics.
  • Educational background in movement science, kinesiology, or sports training/coaching.
  • Willingness to learn and apply DORN's specialized deep tissue therapy techniques.
  • Strong skills in observation and report writing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with onsite management and employees.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including documentation and email communication.
  • Active Liability Insurance.
  • Current vaccinations, including COVID-19 vaccination.
  • Preferred degree or certification in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related fields.
**Note:** DORN mandates background checks and drug screenings for all providers upon contract acceptance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct injury prevention and therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs.
  • Perform workstation evaluations and ergonomic assessments.
  • Facilitate biomechanical training and monitor progress.
  • Lead group training sessions.
  • Collaborate with site safety and management personnel.
  • Design and implement pre-shift/post-lunch conditioning exercises based on customized movement systems.
  • Utilize deep tissue techniques for wellness-focused pain relief.
  • Conduct mobility sessions as needed.
  • Address specific departmental concerns through targeted training and coaching.
