Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness in cabins, hallways, restrooms, and other areas to meet health standards.
  • Utilize vacuum cleaners and shampooers to clean carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture.
  • Manage waste disposal by emptying wastebaskets and transporting trash to designated areas.
  • Perform floor maintenance including sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing.
  • Dust and polish furniture and equipment to ensure a pristine appearance.
  • Keep storage areas and cleaning carts organized and well-stocked.
  • Polish metal fixtures and accessories to maintain their shine.
  • Replace light bulbs as necessary to ensure proper lighting.
  • Ensure that all public areas are free from offensive odors and are well-maintained.
  • Replenish supplies such as linens, dishes, and bathroom items.
  • Sort and clean linens, ensuring they are stored properly.
  • Wash windows, walls, and woodwork, applying wax and polish as needed.
  • Request maintenance services when repairs are needed.
  • Disinfect tools and supplies using appropriate cleaning agents.
  • Manage draperies and window blinds, ensuring they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Assist in moving and arranging furniture as required.
  • Observe safety precautions to protect property and report any damages or lost items.
  • Maintain cleanliness in kitchens and wash dishes and utensils.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong guest service and hospitality skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Able to push and pull heavy items and equipment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Independent worker with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
