Job Description

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to join their team in Tampa, FL. As a key member of a fast-growing manufacturer of dietary supplements, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while contributing to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the quality control team, including training and performance evaluations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards in compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Oversee and coordinate routine inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of quality control activities, including test results, inspections, and corrective actions.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues, including non-conformances, deviations, and customer complaints.
  • Collaborate with production and other departments to address quality-related concerns and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and present quality reports and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Quality Control Supervisor or similar role in the dietary supplement or related manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GMP).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively.
  • Experience with quality management systems and tools (e.g., CAPA, root cause analysis).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to dietary supplement manufacturing is a plus.

Automation Personnel Services offers a competitive compensation package, including weekly pay, 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance. Additionally, employees are eligible for 5 paid vacation days after 1 year of continuous service and 6 paid holidays after 1500 continuous hours of service within a calendar year.
