Job Summary:

NP Now is seeking an experienced OB/GYN physician to join our faculty team as a full-time academic physician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, excellent clinical skills, and a passion for teaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Responsibilities:
    • Provide high-quality patient care to diverse patients, including those from underserved populations.
    • Participate in academic work rounds and attending rounds.
    • Engage in providing quality education in a clinical environment.
  • Teaching and Mentoring:
    • Supervise residents and medical students in clinics, outpatient procedures, and in-patient settings.
    • Evaluate residents and medical students in hospitals.
    • Assist in the planning and implementation of training and educational programs.
  • Research:
    • Contribute to the departmental research objective on a continual basis.
    • Participate in regional or national presentations, research mentoring, and peer-reviewed publications.
  • Administrative Responsibilities:
    • Assist in the evaluation of residents at all phases of training.
    • Participate in clerkship student conferences during each rotation.
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree.
  • State of Michigan licensed or eligible.
  • Board-eligible or certified in OBGYN.
  • Controlled Substance license.
  • Leadership or educational experience preferred.
