Job Title: Technical Engineer, Automation and AV

At Lewis Energy Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Engineer, Automation and AV to join our team. As a Technical Engineer, Automation and AV, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support for internal customers regarding building and home automation, and audio-visual (AV) infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, specify, review, program, and validate system performance, upgrades, and installation of automation and AV systems.
  • Provide engineering support to ensure seamless integration of automation and AV systems.
  • Install and configure network and Wi-Fi systems, as well as troubleshoot and diagnose issues on customer audio/video systems.
  • Complete job documentation accurately and efficiently, and maintain inventory and cleanliness of work vehicles.
  • Support the design and installation of AV racks, and ensure compliance with industry standards and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and senior business stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer service and support.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, and minimum 7 years related experience and/or training.
  • Advanced skills in the use of MS Office suite of software programs, and proficiency in the use of tools such as Adobe, Nitro Pro, and common smartphone devices and applications.
  • CEDIA, Crestron MCP and/or MTA, Lutron Homeworks/RA2 certifications desirable but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
