In this role, you will:
- Administer medications and manage narcotics under appropriate supervision.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care, including personal assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and their families, adhering to hospital standards.
- Assist patients with mobility, including transferring and repositioning as needed.
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient conditions, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Prepare patients for scheduled procedures and assist healthcare providers during examinations.
- Educate patients and their families on health care practices and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Perform various administrative duties related to nursing care.
- Ensure the availability of medical supplies and the proper functioning of equipment.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
- A current LPN license in Pennsylvania.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with additional certifications as required.
- Completion of an accredited LPN program.
- Physical capability to perform nursing duties, including lifting and positioning patients.
Work Environment:
This role requires flexibility in scheduling, with opportunities for full-time, part-time, and PRN positions available. You will be working in a supportive team environment focused on patient-centered care.
