Job Summary:

Prime Occupational Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As an Onsite Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical support and assistance to clients and patients in an on-site setting and at our clinic.
• Maintain medical supplies inventory, notify manager when supplies need to be ordered, and perform preventive maintenance on medical equipment.
• Prepare clients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests, including drug & alcohol screening, audiograms, EKGs, pulmonary function tests, and respirator fit tests.
• Assist in injury care, perform phlebotomy services, and give injections under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional.
• Secure patient information and maintain patient confidentiality by completing and safeguarding medical records within our electronic system.

Requirements:

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or equivalent certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of working experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 100 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass a DISA Drug Screen and Background Check and have reliable transportation.

Work Environment:

This position will be based out of our Baytown, Texas Clinic location and will require travel to various locations throughout Texas and Louisiana to provide on-site clinical services. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading. Work is performed in a medical clinic setting and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
