Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain a calendar of events and activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities.
  2. Foster relationships with local community groups and organizations to enhance programming and resources.
  3. Prepare promotional materials, such as flyers and newsletters, to advertise upcoming events.
  4. Coordinate transportation for residents attending off-site activities or appointments.
  5. Assist with documentation, including participation records and assessments.
  6. Work closely with the Activities Manager to ensure seamless execution of programs and events.
  7. Maintain a safe and organized environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (gerontology, recreation therapy, social work, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in senior living, program coordination, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist residents with mobility needs.
