Job Summary

As a Senior Manager of Cloud, you will contribute to the global data technical standards in liaison with the central team. You will advocate in the region for the architecture principles, best practices, and tools defined globally by the client. Additionally, you will advise and support regional brands on their data journey, including organization, governance, compliance, and architecture. You will manage and animate the client's Data IT community comprised of data and cloud experts in the US region. Furthermore, you will act as a key point of contact in the US for the architecture/technical teams of key providers of the company, including two hyperscalers (Microsoft, Google) and the Managed Services Operators (Accenture, Cap Gemini).

Key Responsibilities

Understand the brand's business process flows and business models, and understand their current architecture setup, as to be able to provide relevant insights.

Work closely with the enterprise architects and solution owners of brands (Local or HQ) to prepare strategies and define requirements, prior to development.

Requirements

10-15 years of experience in data management, with an emphasis on data integration and governance in a corporate environment.

Prior experience overseeing and advising cloud and data projects acting as a liaison between the designated teams.

Strong experience working with data platforms and projects within a Public Cloud environment (Azure, AWS or GCP).

Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in data integration tools (ex: Talend and Informatica).

Proficiency in database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
