Job Summary:

The Advanced Practice Clinician will assess and manage patients, conduct history, perform physical examinations, and develop treatment plans for acute and chronic health problems. You will also order and review lab and x-ray tests, provide first-aid, and make referrals to specialists when necessary.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage patients, including conducting history, performing physical examinations, and developing treatment plans.
  • Order and review lab and x-ray tests, and provide first-aid as needed.
  • Make referrals to specialists when necessary.
  • Participate in medical audits, performance improvement, and peer review activities.
  • Provide in-service training sessions for other CCHS staff.
  • Attend CCHS staff meetings and serve as a resource and consultant to other advanced practice clinicians.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited US NP or PA school (or equivalent).
  • Board Certified.
  • Primary Care specialist (Family, Pediatrics, Adult, Women's Health, or Midwifery).
  • Current NP or PA license to practice in Maryland.
  • Maintain ongoing professional education as mandated by state regulation.
  • Maryland CDS and DEA license and Basic Life Support.
