Job Title: Senior Chemist

ChampionX is seeking a highly skilled Senior Chemist to join our team in Sugar Land, TX. As a key member of our Asset Integrity team, you will play a critical role in developing and transferring phase 0-1 chemistry and formulation concepts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with research scientists and RDE leaders on new development projects and platforms
  • Develop and interpret experimental data, communicating results clearly to peers and project teams
  • Provide consulting on experimental design, mentoring, and work direction for junior lab scientists
  • Maintain employee safety standards, including 5S lab standards
  • Perform technical assessments for new and/or existing product applications and provide solutions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 1 year of related experience
  • Experience in industry communicating daily with internal and external customers
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate within all levels of the organization
