Responsibilities

• Design graphics for HMI displays on the production floor

• Configure computer systems for supervisory software managing plant process controls

• Oversee the factory process control network

• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, variable speed drives, and instrumentation

• Set up, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair factory instrumentation and environmental control systems

• Collaborate with Engineers and Vendors on new equipment installations, HMI and process systems, process enhancements, and service routines

• Serve as a liaison between corporate engineering and plant process controls

• Partner with the factory management team to identify and resolve equipment-related challenges, enhance efficiencies, product quality, and safety

Qualifications

Education:
Preferred: Associate's Degree in a related field

Required: Training in factory automation equipment and PLC programming and troubleshooting

Experience:
• At least eight (8) years of experience in Industrial or Electrical Controls

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience with Rockwell Automation Software and Hardware (Allen Bradley)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Proficient in programming PLCs, VSD, and motor controls

• Familiarity with plant processes in a comparable environment

• Ability to interpret and create instrumentation diagrams and ladder/relay logic

• Competence in troubleshooting electrical systems
