HOW A TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST WILL CONTRIBUTE:

Windows Operating System Management:
Conduct system diagnostics, troubleshooting, administration, and configuration of various versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.

Technical and Analytical Proficiency:

Stay updated on technological advancements, learn new hardware and software, understand product limitations, analyze technical challenges, and convey technical information effectively to clients.


Organizational Skills:
Adhere to technical guidelines, manage multiple tasks, prioritize and schedule work, and meet deadlines.

Interpersonal Skills:
Engage actively, demonstrate empathy, maintain professionalism in challenging situations, and produce clear reports, emails, and memos.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The Contractor must possess the following skills, certifications, and experience:
Proven experience in customer service
Proven experience in technical support
Proven experience in system administration for Windows and Linux environments
Proven experience troubleshooting hardware, telephony, and video systems
Proven experience in deploying and testing hardware and software
Proven experience utilizing an enterprise ticketing system
Proven experience with Windows Operating Systems
Proven experience with Linux Operating Systems
Proven knowledge of LAN/WAN architectures and troubleshooting
Proven working knowledge of VPN clients such as Cisco VPN and others

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Skills and experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory include:
Demonstrated exceptional security practices in handling Restricted Handling (RH) data
Experience with specialized systems such as FSA3 and FiCE
Trained and Certified as a Data Transfer Officer
Trained and Certified as a Krypto handling technician
Trained to support specialized requirements
Advanced training in FSA3 and FiCE architecture and associated troubleshooting procedures

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work experience.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $75,582 - $102,258. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.

Salary will be determined based on experience, geographic location, and potentially contractual requirements, and may fall outside of this range.
