**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Northern Light Health. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a physical therapist to implement treatment programs, train patients in exercises and activities of daily living, and conduct treatments using special equipment.
**Responsibilities:**
• Utilize sound ergonomic principles to ensure a safe working environment
• Recognize and report unsafe working conditions and offer corrective actions
• Demonstrate cardiopulmonary resuscitation and proficiency in various treatment procedures
• Work collaboratively with physicians and caregivers to promote continuity of care
• Effectively communicate job-related information and proactively assist others
**Requirements:**
• High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
• Physical Therapy Assistant certification
**Working Conditions:**
• Potential exposure to abusive and/or aggressive people
• Potential exposure to diseases or infections
• Potential exposure to hazardous materials
• Lifting, moving, and loading 20 to 30 pounds
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
