Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at NorthShore PC Service. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative procedures under the direction of a supervisor.
  • Pre-operative, pre-procedure supply and equipment set-up and room turnover.
  • Auditing, stocking, and maintenance of anesthesia supply stations, calibration of POC equipment, high-level sterilization procedures, and documentation.
  • Provide basic level equipment troubleshooting.
  • Order supplies via the Lawson Material Management System.
Requirements
  • High school diploma with 1 year experience as either an Anesthesia Tech, Patient Care Tech, or Emergency Medical Tech or Associate's Degree if no clinical experience.
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to occasionally lift patients and equipment, as well as push and/or pull heavy objects.
