We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Vascular Surgery team at Albany Medical Center. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and assisting in various clinical functions to support our healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and accurately record patient vital signs
- Document patient history and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff
- Participate in in-office procedures under the direction of a licensed healthcare provider
- Perform diagnostic CLIA waived testing and venipuncture for lab testing
- Prescribe medication and maintain patient charts
- Manage inventory and maintain patient examination rooms
- Adhere to Albany Medical Center's regulatory compliance standards
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a patient care setting preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from physicians, patients, and staff
- LPN licensure in the state of New York
