Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Pharmacists: Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will assist with the preparation and dispensing of medications, as well as provide patient education and counseling.
  • Process Transactions: You will be responsible for processing prescriptions, handling cash and credit transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: You will ensure that all patient records and inventory are accurately maintained and up-to-date.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: You will engage with customers, answer questions, and provide assistance with products and services.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • Skills: Good math skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills.
