Job Summary:

This position provides nursing care to patients and families in diverse healthcare settings. The LPN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The LPN delegates tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. This position serves as a resource for other associates and may communicate instructions, perform minor scheduling, and inspect work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to patients and families in diverse healthcare settings
  • Delegate tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act
  • Serve as a resource for other associates
  • Communicate instructions, perform minor scheduling, and inspect work

Requirements:

  • BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - National Council of State Boards of Nursing
  • Must hold a current license from the State of Ohio
  • Successfully completed Ohio Board of Nursing approved medication course
  • Basic Life support Provider
