We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Concentra. As an Occupational Medicine Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Examine patients, compile medical data, and interpret diagnostic test results to provide accurate diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory tests, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in the provision of continuity of care.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and revision of policies affecting medical practice and quality of occupational health care.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, and peers while incorporating Concentra's values.
  • Manage time, prioritize tasks, and multitask in a busy environment to ensure efficient and effective care.
  • Adapt to changing business needs, such as scheduling and working additional hours, to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Deliver quality care in a busy clinical environment and take action to assist in other areas as needed.
  • Seek opportunities for additional clinical training and self-development to consistently provide quality care.
  • Effectively communicate with patients, clients, supervisors, and peers while incorporating Concentra's values.

Requirements

  • Masters of Science in Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner Studies
  • Board Certification
  • Active Maine licensure
  • Active DEA
  • NRCME certification required prior to start date (if not already certified, we provide this CME)
  • At least one year of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting
