Position Scope:


Under the guidance of an Automation Engineer, Automation Maintenance personnel, production supervisors, or other designated individuals, the Automated Production Line Operator is tasked with managing both scheduled and unscheduled modifications or adjustments of specific component parts or units related to the automation functionalities of the equipment. This role includes maintaining accurate records and reporting online.



Key Responsibilities:
Experience in overseeing the operations of a 6 Press Tandem Line, which includes but is not limited to: programming and/or adjusting the robotic automation of the line, as well as constructing and/or modifying the necessary End of Arm Tooling (EOAT).

Familiarity with JCO and knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).

Proficient understanding of Fanuc Robots and the operation of overhead cranes and forklifts.

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Effective communication abilities are essential.

Qualifications:
Must successfully complete a written mechanical aptitude and knowledge assessment.

Ability to comprehend instructions and execute tasks as directed.

Basic understanding of positive and negative numbers and their relation to robotics.

Familiarity with both metric and standard (English) measurement systems.

Knowledge of Fanuc and ABB robotic systems.


Must be capable of communicating in technical terms and conveying information to other personnel involved in equipment operation and maintenance. Experience operating a forklift is required.

General educational requirements, including proficiency in high school mathematics and reading.

Exhibit a reliable attendance record.
