Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant I to join our team at North Oaks Medical Center. As a Medical Assistant I, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform various administrative and clinical tasks to support the healthcare team, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with medical procedures.
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication, ensuring a positive experience for our patients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and test results.
  • Assist with ordering and stocking medical supplies, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence and patient safety.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant certification or training preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and situations.
