Job Summary

Dent Wizard, the nation's leading provider of automotive reconditioning services and vehicle protection products, is seeking a highly skilled Interior Technical Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our training department, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to our technicians, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver training courses on automotive dent repair, paint, and wheel reconditioning techniques
  • Coach and mentor technicians to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Author weekly progress reports to keep management informed
  • Maintain operation's manuals and ensure use of current information
  • Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of training areas and facilities
Requirements
  • Thorough understanding of Dent Wizard's business and organization
  • Completion of specialized training in at least one of the service courses offered
  • Knowledge of training processes and procedures
  • 5+ years of experience in field reconditioning work
  • 2+ years of experience in field training
  • Excellent demonstration, presentation, and communication skills
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to stand and walk
  • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to lift to 45 pounds (light hand tools, etc.)
  • Manual dexterity, repetitive motion tasks
  • Frequent exposure to toxic chemicals
  • Exposure to moderate noise levels
  • Respirators must be worn for paint application, and other protective equipment may be required
