  • Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, utilizing your knowledge of emergency and critical care procedures and protocols.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures and laboratory tests, providing timely and accurate results to inform patient care decisions.
  • Assist with surgical procedures and anesthesia monitoring, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and care.
  • Provide compassionate care and support to pet owners during difficult times, offering emotional support and guidance throughout the patient's stay.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology or related field.
  • Previous experience working as a veterinary technician in an emergency or ICU setting, with a strong understanding of emergency and critical care procedures and protocols.
  • Certification as a Veterinary Technician is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of emergency and critical care procedures and protocols, with the ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with veterinarians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task, with a strong focus on patient safety and well-being.
