We are seeking a highly skilled IT Quality Assurance Systems Engineer to join our team in support of the Air Force National Capital Region (AFNCR) program. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of services delivered on the program.

About the Job

The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT operations and maintenance, as well as experience with IT service management processes. They will be responsible for developing, engineering, and implementing IT solutions, as well as providing IT support to the National Military Command Center (NMCC).

The QA Engineer focus primarily on supporting the NMCC portion of the scope. You will ensure all performance standards, measures, and contract deliverables are in conformance with the contract and performance work statement (PWS), the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP), Leidos' EngineeringEdge NextGen (EENG) standard methodologies, industry standards and best practices, and the AFNCR Quality Control Plan (QCP).

This position is expected to be onsite at The Pentagon Washington, DC. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and contribute to our company's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the Quality Manager in the execution of plans and activities that execute and measure the requirements according to Leidos policies and standards.
  2. Measure program performance against contractual requirements.
  3. Assist in the creation of the Internal Audit Schedule to drive compliance with the PWS, QASP, Leidos Policies and Procedures, the Quality Plan, and other applicable Industry Standards and Best Practices.
  4. Identify issues, process breakdowns, or negative trends and recommend them for improvement action.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 4+ years of professional experience; or a Master's degree in a related discipline with 2+ years of professional experience additional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

You must also currently possess a DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance. Experience working with SharePoint and MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. Good oral and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to multi-task and function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $55,250 - $99,875, based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, and location.
