About ARC Automotive:

ARC Automotive is a leader in the design and development of airbag inflators and related systems for the automotive industry. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Expert to join our team.

Job Description:

The Mechanical Design Expert will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of our inflator products. This includes understanding the impact of the inflator design on manufacturing, quality, and product success, working closely with test technicians to develop test procedures and test instrumentation as necessary, and supporting and/or leading technical teams in support of product investigations, product design changes, product improvement, and cost reduction projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or physical science, preferably mechanical engineering, plus a minimum of seven (7) years of design engineering experience.
  • Experience with energetic device design (airbag inflators, gas generators, rocket motors) and/or pressure vessel experience desired.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
