Job Title: Telecom Network Engineer II

A large healthcare client in San Diego is seeking a Telecom Network Engineer II to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks, including support for desktop computing environments.



The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in network infrastructure design, implementation, and management, as well as experience utilizing Cisco CallManager as an enterprise VOIP solution. A Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is also required.



The Telecom Network Engineer II will work closely with system administrators to ensure the smooth operation of the network and provide direct customer service support. This is a hybrid position (70% remote) with on-call responsibilities every 8 weeks.

Requirements:


  • 5-7 years of experience designing, implementing, managing and supporting Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks that include support of desktop computing environments
  • Experience utilizing Cisco CallManager as an enterprise VOIP solution
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field


Work Environment:
