About the Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Substitute After School Care Staff to join our team at ESS. As a Substitute After School Care Staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational program and ensuring the well-being of students.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain open communication with parents, staff, and school personnel to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment.
  • Prepare engaging activities that cater to the developmental needs of the children.
  • Communicate with parents through daily drop-off and pick-up to keep them informed about their child's activities.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for participants at all times.
  • Monitor and supervise students during after-school programs, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain order and student conduct, providing a positive and respectful atmosphere.
  • Offer homework help to students who require assistance, promoting academic success.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment, adhering to school policies and procedures.
  • Report any student injuries, illnesses, or serious discipline issues to the school administration in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the school administration, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the team.
Qualifications
  • Must be proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing) and at least 21 years old with a high school diploma.
