The Role We Are Offering You:

The Accountant II plays a pivotal role in preparing and analyzing financial statements, collaborating closely with business and finance leadership to ensure precision and adherence to IFRS standards.

This position contributes to the overall financial narrative concerning actual performance and works with the forecasting team to adjust future projections as necessary.

The Accountant II implements best practices, refines processes, and facilitates efficient workflows to guarantee timely reporting, contributing to the monthly financial closing process across multiple business entities.



Are You Ready To:
  • Manage financial statements, reporting, and related variance analysis
  • Collaborate with finance leadership to ensure compliance with IFRS in financial reports
  • Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial data, overseeing the overall financial closing process
  • Maintain industry and company knowledge to enhance variance explanations and financial reporting
  • Conduct internal and external audit activities within prescribed timelines
  • Provide timely and accurate updates to stakeholders at least monthly to assess performance and guide decisions
  • Drive process improvements and proactively identify cost-saving opportunities

Assist in Projects Including but Not Limited To:
  • Governance of financial statements and reporting
  • Various analyses and reporting tasks
  • Streamlining compliance requirements
  • Contributing to business process troubleshooting and enhancement initiatives (HFM, Oracle, Hyperion) as appropriate
  • Any other tasks or duties as agreed with the Finance Team Lead

Our Ideal Candidate Has:
  • A university degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA license preferred
  • MBA or graduate degree preferred
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and public company financial reporting practices
  • Experience in collaborating with or leading a team of junior accountants
  • Strong corporate consolidation knowledge
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Expertise in creating and overseeing financial statements, reports, and models
  • Able to learn financial requirements across various countries
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment and contribute to team objectives
  • Effective stress management and performance under pressure
  • Skill in simplifying complex concepts into actionable items
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proven ability to analyze business financial performance and implement measures to enhance it
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented global business environment
  • Essential knowledge and experience in Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Enterprise preferred
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) required
  • Knowledge and experience in Oracle preferred
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and public holidays
