Job Summary

Stallings Court is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to promote patient comfort and independence.
  • Collect and document patient data, including vital signs, input/output, and other delegated measurements, in accordance with facility policy and standards of care.
  • Recognize and report abnormalities and changes in patient health status and responses to treatment to the licensed nurse.
  • Communicate effectively with other caregivers to ensure continuity of care and promote a positive patient experience.
  • Perform procedures and use equipment as delegated by a licensed professional, consistent with demonstrated competencies and state scope of practice.
  • Provide necessary supplies, support, and assistance to medical staff and patients for unit-specific procedures, under the direct supervision of a licensed professional.
Requirements:
  • CNA certification in good standing.
  • 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), with experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift and transfer residents (up to 100 pounds unassisted), bend, twist, push, and pull.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and skill in nurse aide techniques.
  • Exceptional organization skills and ability to prepare and maintain accurate resident charts, reports, and observations.
  • Effective communication skills and interpersonal relations.
  • Good problem-solving and independent thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of basic hygiene and sanitation.
Work Environment:

Long-term care facility with a focus on geriatric care.

License/Certification:

CNA certification in Texas (required).
