DaVita is in search of a dedicated Registered Nurse eager to provide life-saving care in a hospital environment. If you are passionate about delivering compassionate and empathetic care, we want to hear from you.
Position Details:
This role involves coverage for multiple healthcare facilities.
Schedule: 4 days a week with alternating Saturdays. On-call responsibilities include 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month.
Training:
No prior dialysis experience is necessary. Training may occur at various facilities, and you may be required to float to different locations during and after training. Flexibility in your schedule is essential, as shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Role Responsibilities:
As a vital member of a small interdisciplinary team, you will:
- Provide care to patients with complex health conditions requiring tailored treatment plans.
- Supervise a group of patients alongside Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) for patient monitoring and machine setup.
- Specialize in various renal therapies, including Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), and Apheresis.
- Deliver nephrology care in diverse settings such as ICU, CCU, and ED.

Qualifications:
- An Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited institution is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing may be considered.
- Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) is preferred.
- Certification as a Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Dialysis Nurse (CDN) is advantageous.
- Successful completion of a color blind test is required, with accommodations available.
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory.
