About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at the LEGO Discovery Centre. As a Custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our attraction, ensuring that every guest has a magical and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Empty, clean, and line waste receptacles and dispose of trash
  • Wash doors, windows, walls, baseboards, and light fixtures
  • Safely clean and mop spills
  • Clean drinking fountains
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, including floors, walls, fixtures, and mirrors
  • Restock restroom supplies as needed
  • Report the need for maintenance and repair
  • Observe safe working practices, including maintaining storage areas in a safe condition
  • Correct or report any safety or fire hazards
  • Safely operate a variety of custodian tools, equipment, and supplies
  • Perform related duties as required or assigned, such as opening and closing facility systems and providing technical team assistance
  • Adhere to all company policies concerning Health and Safety, WHMIS 2018, and GHS regulations

Requirements:

  • Fun, dynamic, and friendly personality
  • Excellent communication, listening, and motivational skills
  • Able to work in areas with loud noises and confined spaces
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multitask as necessary
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
