Position: Business Operations Supervisor

We are in search of a detail-oriented and results-focused Business Operations Supervisor who is dedicated to enhancing client satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role will report directly to the Director of Integrated Services and will be responsible for managing the daily functions of the tax practice while fostering organizational growth through process optimization and improved interdepartmental collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations across all service areas, including tax advisory, return processing, bookkeeping, administration, and client relations.
  • Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to further integrate the firm's tax and investment advisory offerings.
  • Develop reporting mechanisms to assess operational performance and guide resource allocation effectively.
  • Utilize existing technologies and systems to enhance workflows and operational processes.
  • Facilitate ongoing professional development and training opportunities for team members.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional services environment, particularly in project management roles.
  • Experience in tax preparation and/or public accounting is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in building strong relationships with colleagues and leadership across various levels of the organization.
  • Skilled in conducting effective meetings that yield actionable results.
  • Exhibit strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
  • Exceptional communication and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with Lacerte and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Possess a client-centric mindset.
  • Committed to maintaining a culture of compliance.
