Health Information Management Faculty Position

Laurel Ridge Community College is seeking a dedicated and innovative instructor to join our faculty team as a 9-month faculty member in the Health Information Management program. The successful candidate will provide leadership and instruction to students, collaborate with colleagues to develop new course curriculum, and strengthen relationships with K-12, higher education, industry, and community organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach in traditional and non-traditional settings, including face-to-face, hybrid, dual enrollment, or online courses.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop new course curriculum and ensure teaching uniformity and continuity of course material and expectations.
- Strengthen and expand relationships and partnerships with K-12, higher education, industry, and community organizations in support of the college mission, vision, and values.
- Advise, recruit, and serve on college committees as needed.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Health Information Management or a related field.
- Experience in teaching and/or industry in Health Information Management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
