Job Summary

Entergy is seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to lead our Cyber Security initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing IT/Cyber Security projects to deliver approved scope with cost and schedule control, while ensuring alignment with defined PMO stage gate processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage IT/Cyber Security projects to deliver approved scope with cost and schedule control.
  • Partner with stakeholders and resource managers to provide direction to project team members, identify and mitigate risks, and resolve or escalate issues that affect these projects.
  • Provide management insight into how the status of those projects affect business, project, and operational goals.
  • Plan, coordinate, and document project-related activities to deliver project objectives.
  • Manage project delivery activities, resourcing, budget, procurement, schedule, stakeholder engagement, and reporting.
  • Define the project organization structure required for the project and identify the technical resources required to achieve project goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years leading IT/Cybersecurity projects as a project manager or program manager.
  • Leadership experience directing resources and managing work across multiple teams and people is a plus.
  • Proficient in project management waterfall fundamentals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical understanding of IT or Cyber Security systems.
  • Experience in creating and managing project schedules.
  • Proficient in office tools such as Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Available to travel as needed, be available, and able to work irregular hours for project go-lives and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMI PMP Certification is a plus.
  • Alternate Project Management certifications are a plus.
