Engineering Design Review Manager Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Design Review Manager to join our team at JLL. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for the management and execution of engineering design reviews of HVAC building automation systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field, with relevant experience in facilities HVAC and control systems. You should have excellent knowledge of control theory, HVAC systems, and building automation protocols, as well as experience with major BMS platforms such as Tridium, Johnson Controls, and Siemens.

This role involves conducting design reviews for infrastructure and tenant improvement HVAC controls projects to ensure compliance with relevant standards, design guidelines, best practices, and stakeholder expectations.

In addition to your technical expertise, you should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design review: Conduct design reviews for infrastructure and tenant improvement HVAC controls projects to ensure compliance with relevant standards, design guidelines, best practices, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Technical review: Perform technical review of control sequences of operation, program logic, and associated functional performance test plans.
  • Project coordination: Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure project success.
