A Day in the Life of an English Language Instructor

We are seeking a skilled English Language Instructor to join our team as an Academic Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality and engaging English language lessons across different educational settings. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Designing instructional plans that address the academic and functional needs of English Language Learners (ELLs)
  • Conducting language proficiency assessments to evaluate the needs of students and inform lesson planning
  • Collaborating with other teachers and school staff to promote academic success and social integration for ELL students

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • TESOL or TEFL Certificate (required)
  • Bachelor's degree (required)
  • Teaching License issued by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) (preferred)
  • Spanish fluency (preferred, but not required)

This position is located in the Greater Cleveland Area and offers a competitive salary range of $26-$32 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
