Assembly Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team at Hillphoenix. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling refrigeration cases and sub-assemblies, including tanks, canopies, base frames, hardware kits, plenums, and other parts as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and comprehend A orders.
- Identify parts used on assigned product lines and their placement locations.
- Identify power and hand tools used on assigned product lines.
- Read and comprehend work orders.
- Perform assembly-type functions using hand or power tools.
- Identify parts and part descriptions using work order information.
- Utilize information on material gauging and dimensioning.
- Read rulers, tape measures, metal squares, and other measuring instruments.
- Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners.
- Work at different workstations as production needs require.
- Work as a member of the assembly team building units to completion.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling.
Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
