Colorist Assistant

Madison Reed Hair Color Bar is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Assistant Colorist to join our team. As an Assistant Colorist, you will support our Licensed Colorists and Shift Lead in providing exceptional guest experiences, learning the services, and working towards your next role.

• Assist in providing seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure.
• Support Licensed Colorists and Shift Lead in delivering high-quality services.
• Learn and master color theory, behind-the-chair application skills, and other services offered.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and key performance indicators.
• Ensure the Hair Color Bar meets company standards for cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security.
• Adhere to protocols regarding Madison Reed systems, policies, processes, and procedures.
• Drive Hair Color Bar revenue through increasing average service tickets and sales of unlimited roots memberships, subscriptions, and home hair care products.

• Active cosmetology license in the state of employment.
• Entry-level experience in customer service or retail sales, with salon or beauty industry experience preferred.
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon environment.
• Comfortable operating point-of-sale systems.
