Ultrasound Technician PRN

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician PRN to join our team at Research Medical Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing sonography procedures, including routine sonograms and interventional sonograms, under the direction of a radiologist.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform sonography procedures, including routine sonograms and interventional sonograms, under the direction of a radiologist.
- Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Improvement activities.
- Work within the guidelines established in the policies and procedure manual and comply with all safety and infection control guidelines.
- Work in accordance with JCAHO, State, or other regulatory or accreditation agencies in the performance of duties.
- Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and/or School of Sonography.
- Two-year program or four-year BA program in Radiology Technology followed by training in sonography or completion of requirements from an accredited school in sonography, including meeting all clinical requirements.
- Sonography, or Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- ARDMS and RVT registration required within 12 months of hire.
- BLS Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of one-year hospital department experience in medical sonography to include biopsies.
