Position SummaryWe are currently seeking a Chemical Mixer to become an integral part of our Manufacturing team on the 2nd Shift. The working hours for this role are from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and manufacture materials in accordance with batch cards and mixing instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness of mixing equipment following established work instructions at designated intervals.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of mixes, taking appropriate action to halt operations if standards are not met.
- Assist in the training of new mixers and provide support to other production lines as necessary.
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer operations and lift truck handling; ability to comprehend and execute both oral and written instructions is essential.
- Physical requirements include: continuous standing and walking during shifts, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of up to 65 pounds, and climbing in and out of equipment for cleaning purposes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, while also suggesting improvements to enhance safety measures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Pay Range: $22 - $26 per hour, based on skills and experience, with an additional $0.50 shift differential for 2nd shift.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in batch mixing within the hand cleaner or a related industry.
- Experience with both computer systems and fork trucks is necessary.
