Role Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering fundamental nursing care to patients under the general oversight of a registered nurse. Additionally, the LPN will perform delegated nursing and medical tasks beyond basic care under the direct supervision of the registered nurse.

Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
- Successful completion of an IV therapy and pharmacology course.
- Previous experience is advantageous.
- Current licensure as an LPN in Wisconsin, or application pending results.
- Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Training Requirements:
All clinical personnel in designated job codes must maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, online manikin, and knowledge testing. Acceptable training programs include the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.

Continuing Education:
Annual accrual of CEUs/continuing education requirements as recommended by the Education Council for the given year.
Annual competencies as mandated by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.

Work Schedule:
Full Time or 1.0, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM.
