Job Title: ICU Nurse Specialist

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled ICU Nurse Specialist to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in Portage, Wisconsin.

Job Description & Requirements

As an ICU Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment. You will work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, and make adjustments as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, medical history, and treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Monitor patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and making adjustments to care plans as needed.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Requirements:

  • Active RN License
  • Degree from accredited nursing program
  • BLS & ACLS Certification
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting
  • Other requirements to be determined by our client facility
