Overview:
Liberty Companies is a leading provider of construction and equipment services, with a strong presence in the Northeast and Florida markets. As a self-performing contractor, we deliver high-quality services to our clients through six specialized divisions: general requirements, concrete, equipment rentals, all access, warehousing, and concrete.
The President of Liberty Companies will provide strategic leadership and direction nationally to support the company's long-range goals, strategies, and initiatives. This role requires a strong leader who can collaborate effectively with leaders throughout Suffolk Construction.
Responsibilities:- Business Direction and Strategy: Develop and implement Liberty Companies' strategic plan for self-perform services, drive and execute the business plan overall, in specific specialty services, and in specific regions.
- Safety Culture: Oversee a Safety-first culture in all aspects of the business.
- Equipment Fleet Management: Manage Equipment Fleet, Maintenance, and buy/sell strategies.
- Talent Development: Ensure Talent Development, and a Best Place to Work environment is achieved in all regional operations.
- Financial Management: Hold accountability for cost management, financial reporting, and ultimate P&L for the business.
- 20+ years in the construction/management services industry.
- Engineering (Preferably Mechanical), Mathematics, S-EM & MBA Business certificate or an equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience in managing a large labor force in an at-risk environment.
- General knowledge of Engineered Systems for Scaffolding, Hoists, Lifts, and Cranes.
- Energetic, enthusiastic self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills and an eye for detail.
- Outstanding team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess Suffolks Core Values: Passion, Integrity, Hard Work, Professionalism, and Caring.
The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level.
